The current Ecobee install employs the PEK mainly because I feel there are actually only 4 or 5 wires likely from your thermostat to the furnace but I can rather simply incorporate additional wires if required to get two phases (thermostat is almost right previously mentioned the furnace which is from the unfinished basement).
